Wervershoof Wervershoof is located close to the IJsselmeer and has increased its touristic potential considerably with the “Vooroever project”, a beautiful nature reserve created in the 1990s. Its most famous inhabitant is the legendary sports journalist Theo Koomen, who unfortunately passed away at the age of 55 but is still known for his vivid coverage of the Tour de France. |
