Zijdewind

The small village of Zijdewind, with around 350 inhabitants, emerged at the shores of a lake that has since been drained. It is closely connected to the nearby ‘t Veld and over time has lost its bakery and church, but the nearby Slootgaard windmill has been restored and is operational again.
