Westwoud

Westwoud is still a typical rural village with many traditional (Haubarg) farmhouses. The Oudijk runs between Westwoud and Zwaag and is a beautiful piece of Westfriesland that is especially well suited for exploration by bicycle. The Westwoud Golf Course at the Zittend is very popular with golfers due to its beautiful location and has been extended to 18 holes.
