Sint Pancras

Sint Pancras derives its name from the saint Pancratius and was founded on a sandy hill near the shore, on the same spot where the village of Vronen had earlier been destroyed in a war between the West Frisians and the counts of Holland and Zeeland. The former town hall now houses the nature museum Westflinge. Most of the old buildings and small shops line the charming Bovenweg, the central street of the village.
