Oudkarspel

Oudkarspel is the northernmost village of the “village city” and municipality of Langedijk, at the edge of the recreational nature reserve Geestmerambacht. It dates back to the 11th century and derives its name from the chapel that once graced the village. The former town hall was destroyed in the war of the Batavian Revolution and now houses a museum.
