Oude Niedorp

This village emerged when in the 13th century the “Nyedorp” (“New Village”) split in an “Old” and a “New” Nyedorp. Its two main tourist attractions are the former Saint Werenfridus church, also known as the Church Ruin, and the old wheat mill “De Hoop”. The “Nazomeren” bicycle tour in the 3rd weekend of August, dedicated to gardening, art, music and rural life, is certainly worth a visit.
