KoedijkKoedijk is originally a linear village along the North-Holland Channel that is rightfully proud of its picturesque wooden church and its old floating bridge built in the 19th century. Because of its traditional affinity to the water this ‘channel village’ is the ideal destination for enthusiasts of old Dutch naval traditions. Especially the Koedijker gondola festival in the 3rd weekend of August is worth a visit: the entire village is lit up, there is a fair and the village residents decorate their homes and gardens. |
