Hensbroek

Hensbroek is situated between Obdam and Rustenburg. It first appears in old records from 1120 as “Heynsbroec”, a settlement in a swampy fen. One of its main sights is the Dutch Reformed church from 1658. A famous windmill named “Polder Hensbroek”, built in 1866, proudly stands just outside the village close to the hamlet ‘Draai’.
