Hauwert

Hauwert is a beautiful linear village in the West Frisian countryside. It is particularly nice to visit on a cycling tour. The remarkable white church is a national monument. Through the "Zak van Hauwert" (undisputedly the most beautiful part of Hauwert) you can enter the Nature and Recreation area The Egboetswater, located between Hauwert, Onderdijk and Oostwoud.
